Anita Cooney and Emily Luce

Anita / I’m a designer (architect by training) and an academic (teaching most recently in interior design), administrator (currently serving as Dean of Design at Pratt Institute) and board member of DesignInquiry.  While not a native, I have lived in New York City for over 30 years.

Emily / I’m a designer + artist based in Port Alberni, British Columbia. This is my second career (REWRITE!) Right now I’m interested in screen printing, foldable volumes, and how space and materials can be used to manufacture ideas. My partner Rodney Sayers and I work together sometimes in a collaboration called Search & Research. It is my honour to serve as President of the board of DesignInquiry.
